Author of over 30 instructional guitar books, methods and DVDs
for Hal Leonard Corporation (the world's largest music print publisher)
which have sold nearly 1 million copies worldwide.
Runs Artist Underground recording studio in the Milwaukee area,
where he occasionally produces other bands as well as his own
projects.
Writes monthly "Return of the Shred" column for GuitarOne
magazine.
Formerly Director of Rock Guitar Studies at the Wisconsin Conservatory
of Music.
Main formative influences: Randy Rhoads, Van Halen, Beethoven,
Paganini. Current Influences: "Modern rock, metal, classical,
movie soundtracks...anything really. Anything that's well done."
