Matthew
Mills grew up in southern Maryland and started playing guitar
around the age of 15. Matthew was completely blown away after
hearing The Yngwie Malmsteen album Trilogy. The album completely
changed his world and he knew he wanted to take guitar very seriously.
Matthew began to play guitar as much as 6 to 8 hours a day. Matthew
also started to Listen to Vinnie Moore and Tony MacAlpine and
then Joe Stump and George Bellas. The guitarist were a huge impact
on his playing style. He has released 3 solo albums The Matt Mills
Project Neoclassical Rock Guitar And Neoclassical Rock Guitar
Part 2. "Neoclassical Rock guitar Part 2 is the best example
of my playing and writing so far Matthew Mills" Matthew had
the great honor of having Joe Stump play a solo on the Neoclassical
Classical Rock Guitar Album album! The album Neoclassical Rock
Guitar was the number 1 top seller on the Neoclassical Metal section
of Guitar Nine Records for 2005 and Number 2 best Neoclassical
seller for 2006 . Matthew is working on his fourth instrumental
album due out in 2008. Matthew Also was able to contribute guitar
solos to Pigdestroyers 2004 album release Terrifyer. Matthew is
also heavily involved with his Power Metal Band Forgotten Realm.
