--- HELP! ---

We need help - from good instructors! We want to compile a "beginners guide" primer ebook that people can download for free to get them started on guitar. So, it will be a communal effort - if you are interested in participating please send an email HERE and let us know. What we will do is have one instructor start off, and pass it around adding their '2 cents' until the end result is a helpful starter guide for people 100% new to guitar, with many peoples' input to give a correct and interesting read.

Contributors will be credited and weblinks included. This will also be bundled with the Guitar Methods: Lead Guitar Techniques CD we sell in our shop, which sells around 300 copies/month so this is a great way to get your names out there for free!

Lastly, we're real busy here at the moment editing Roo's "creative shred" DVD which should be ready in 1-2 weeks. Also, Matt Hale's eBook is being edited and that should be out by the end of this week. Plenty of free lessons are building up, so they will all be online as soon as possible.

A new lesson was added to the licks section today from T D Clark. There are a lot more lessons to go up, but there is also a lot of other stuff to be done, including new DVDs almost ready for the shop that need work first, so the lessons may be staggered over the next week or two.

--- Zack Uidl DVD on Sale ---

Zack Uidl's Progressive 7-String Guitar DVD is now exclusively on sale here at the Shred Academy website. A full description of the contents of the DVD will be online in the next couple of days, along with some more lessons.

5 New lessons were added today, including contributions from Niels Vejlyt, Tom Hess and Zack Kim. A lot of other minor changes were also made, for example updated lessons and the tools page has been updated. There are still a lot of things to come very soon, so expect another 5 lessons at the weekend or early next week.

March has started as it means to go on, with 2 new interviews, 2 new lessons, and a major overhaul of the lessons section. This is still in progress, as more changes will be coming shortly including a method of showing the difficulty of each technique lesson so people can easily find lessons within their ability.
